Every time we use a hot tap we have to wait a period of time for the water to get hot. While we wait for this to happen, the cooled water coming out of the hot tap is wasted down the drain! This water is called Redwater™.
Because we do not have a hot water system located at each hot tap, it takes a period of time for the hot water to travel through the hot water pipes and arrive at the hot tap. In between uses of the hot tap the water in the hot water pipe cools down.
The next time the hot tap is used that cooled water has to be pushed through first before the hot water. This cooled water has been heated once and is called Redwater™.
The founders of Redwater™ Australia wanted to solve this problem by creating a product that was simple, easy to use and didn't require electricity or a premeditated operation to save water.
